Կամրջի հակառակ հատվածից՝ դեպի Երեւանի քաղաքապետարան տանող մասում, ոստիկաններն էին ցուցարարների առջեւ ճանապարհը փակել: «Շնորհավոր, շնորհավոր»,- սկսեցին վանկարկել ցուցարարները՝ նկատի ունենալով, որ ոստիկանները միացել են իրենց բողոքին:

«Մենք ճանապարհը փակում ենք նաեւ ձեր՝ ձեր ընտանիքների, ձեր երեխաների համար, հետեւաբար, զերծ մացեք սադրանքներից, Նիկոլի եւ ՔՊ-ի հրահանգով ժողովրդի նկատմամբ ուժ կիրառելուց»,- ոստիկաններին դիմեց ՀՅԴ-ական ԱԺ փոխխոսնակ Իշխան Սաղաթելյանը՝ ցուցարարներին առաջարկելով՝ «այս փողոցը ոստիկանները լավ էլ փակել են, եկեք թողնենք սա, թող իրենք փակեն, մենք գնանք՝ այլ փողոց փակենք»:
